He said drinking extra water would not make a difference, but I kind of feel it is all I can do. I am taking it very easy, staying healthy, and drinking lots of water. He said the best case scenario was that my levels stayed the same constant low and we get as far along in the pregnancy as we can. He said there was nothing I did to cause this and that there was nothing I could to do really change it, that it had nothing to do with my hydration levels, and that it was not going to self-correct or go away. At this point, the doctor is seeing me every two weeks and I have to take it very easy. Thankfully, my water had not broken and doesn't appear to be leaking. I just found out on Tuesday at an anatomy ultrasound. Greater health problems usually are linked with severe polyhydramnios.I have low amniotic fluid too. ![]()
